WordPress as CMS for Flash Applications tutorial

I’ve been playing around with WordPress for some time this summer, and figured out that with the right combination of plugins and a little bit of creativity we can turn this easy to install and easy to mantain blog into a CMS.

So, first you have to install wordpress 2.8.4 on your server and configure it, in my hosting @ godaddy the install process is about 5 minutes.
Then install “pods” plugin, one of the greatest plugins ever seen for wordpress.
It still need further developement in order to be outstanding, but i think they are not far from a commercial/donation based plugin.

when you have pods installed you can create your new database tables or even better in OOP our custom datatypes.
next post on this topic will show how to create a new datatype
